The first computers

Hello all,

Have you ever imagined how big was the first computer invented, before reading this article I want you to have a good look at your pc/laptop?

Now take a look at the hard disk of the computer in 1956:

If this was the hard disk do you have any idea how the whole computer looks like

Well, if you don’t ,take a look at these pictures:

imagine if one of the tubes died will you fix it or throw it in the trash:D

First programmable computer: 1936 by Z1 (germany)

The first digital computer: 1937  by Atanasoff-Berry Computer (american)

The first stored program computer : 1949 by EDSAC (british )

The first personal computer : 1971 by Altair 8800 (american )

The first laptop or portable computer : 1984  by Osborne I (american )
